Susan's birthday (on the years she decides to acknowledge it) is August 8th. She prefers celebrating birthdays of her family members, including her two (now grown) sons. If you ask her nicely, she'll be happy to share ideas from their pirate theme birthday party and their airplane theme party, the two she remembers best, as well as a few more special birthday memories. Dianne ,whose birthday is August 17th, has made many novelty cakes for children’s birthday parties including a couple of Dinosaurs, a Butterfly, Firecrackers, Lego blocks and the Space Shuttle. My cakes are not professional looking but they are certainly fun! Robin loves birthdays and celebrates her own on June 29th which happens to fall after school lets out for the summer, every year. Always jealous of the kids who got to bring cupcakes to school on their birthdays, she took that envy and turned it into something constructive. Robin is now the leader of the Cupcake Club on Squidoo where she collects, writes about, and shares homemade cupcake recipes every day! As a homeschool mom of four, Carma does indeed have birthdays on the brain for most of the year! She enjoys creating birthday parties from scratch for her kids (maybe even a bit more than they enjoy it sometimes!). The kids always seem to get at least one funny t-shirt for every birthday, and blogging about t-shirts for obscure holidays is a great way to find some funny ones. Carma thinks her lucky number is 27, since she was born on that day in April.
